Good stuff, Larry. I think the composition of these are dead-on. I think these could be special if you could work more with early morning or late afternoon light. That way, you could work with some warm, rich light to add additional interest, not to mention the interplay of shadow. But those are really minor quibbles. Keep sending them on!

Wow, what great memories. I remember eating at the "Social Grill" in Downtown Birmingham, next to the Red Cross. When I was a kid and lived in Trussville I worked summers at the Red Cross and used to eat there with my mom.

Live in Florida now, trying to move home (Alabama) by February.
Thanks for sharing your pictures. They were fantastic.
