Can you tell me what large chain stores there are in Gulf Shores? Whatever info you could give would help out.

Examples: Petsmart, Target, Walmart, Bookstore Chains, Retail Chains, etc.

Thanks.

Just lived there for a year...if you count foley you have walmarts, a target, a bedbath beyound, payless, dollar tree, pottery barn, trees and trends, one block buster in foley... I don't recall any large petstores there are a few locally owned, I was always upset that there is no craft art stores(hobby lobby, sewing, art, michaels, gordens etc, none), hmm.. there is books a million, a bunch of small retail mall shopping, a old navy. That about it unless you count the 15 surf styles and alvin islands.

There is a nice Wal Mart, also many stores at Pinnacle at Craft Farms, including Target, B,B and Beyond....all of these at Gulf Shores. The outlet is in Foley.

The Pelican Place, an open-air lifestyle center, is anchored by Target, a Cobb multiplex theater and features Books-A-Million and Bed, Bath and Beyond junior anchors. In-line tenants here are a small assortment of regional and national chains. It is the largest shopping center in Gulf Shores city limits.

Wal-Mart also has a super center in Gulf Shores, as well.

The commercial centerpiece of south Baldwin County is the city of Foley, with its sprawling Tanger Outlets complex and numerous big box retailers, including Home Depot, Lowe's.

Unfortunately, if you're looking for big box retailers that deal primarily in the pet supply, sporting goods and home furnishings categories, then you must take a trip to the regional shopping centers of Baldwin County's eastern shore.
