OpelikaMan reminds me an awful lot of NortonGuy from Augusta -- boosterism to poimt of being ridiculous! As for Celebrate Alabama, my sources at the Opelika-Auburn News tell me it will never happen -- at least nowhere on the grand scale as originally proposed pre-recession. Like everything else, this was a true pie-in-the-sky developers pipe dream, not at all grounded in reality.

Atlanta has Centennial Park and Atlantic Station, as well as, they already have a Celebrate Virginia in Washington D.C.... so tell your so call "news source at the Opelika-Auburn news to get there facts straight and embrace the change.....
