After 2 fun weeks in Alaska, we returned home to temps in the mid 90's.
That said, we enjoyed our trip and the weather. We saw temps in the mid 70's when we first arrived Memorial Day weekend to the low 40's on the Parks highway south of Denali. Mostly though it was pleasant 50's and 60's. Most of the people we met were very friendly and the places we stay were wonderful. The views were outstanding and we got to see lots of wildlife. One of the highlights was the Kenia Fjords trip to the Northwestern Glacier out of seward. Dispite rough swells, thanks to dramamine no sickness, we saw all the wildlife I was hoping for including Orcas. We even got to see Denali from Talkeetna and inside the park for a brief moment. We did 2 of them. One with the Seavy's down in Seward. Thats one where you can ride on the wheeled sled. And we did the Husky Homestead one with the Kings outside of Denali National Park.
