Nice photography Rance! I have relatives in Angelholm, Sweden. Guess I should plan a vacation someday to see them...my parents have been over there, but I have not (yet). Do they use the Euro-dollars there? I remember flying over Norway several years ago at 33,000 feet...huge fjords as far as I could see to the horizon, like 70 or 80 miles, at least. Impressive!

Bud you have to see it! Ride the trains across the country. Awesome farm lands and terrain. The trains are fairly cheap. Sweden uses Kronar for currency. Stockholm was very cool to walk through the old section.

Default wonderful slideshow

Hey Rance,

I really enjoyed your slideshow on the Jumpcuts site, nice way to share your photos.

It looks like you got a good mix of the old-Europe urban scene and some wonderful shots of the countryside. The scenery there seems vaguely reminiscent of parts of Alaska, by the looks of it. Lots of good shots there.

Of course, it doesn't hurt to have an attractive young lady in about half of them.

Southern Sweden has oaks and other big trees, along with birch and pine. The farther north we went it looked more and more like the peninsula. Willow and aspen/cottonwood and many lakes and streams. They even have fireweed! And lupins of every color. I really did feel right at home.
