I need a small panel changed out and have called 4 different companies in the last 2 days, but none have called back. Can anyone recomend someone in this area? It is a small job, I have a small panel with a circuit breaker for the home that needs a cover or a new box. The power is not turned on yet.

Thanks.

I have found that for the hassle and drama of hiring skilled tradesman I can buy all the tools and learn to do it myself. They are usually "busy", or put on a ruse that they are overbooked and maybe they can squeeze you in 2 weeks from now and of course they want $90/hr and wont tell you how long its going to take.

Yep I owned a condo and learned this lol. I was able to find a really good handy man that was able to do small tasks that I did not want to do but he left state.

That is what I found, one said they would send someone out, then the electrician called to say he was going to look at it, but then I never heard from him again. He was the 5th one I called, so I gave up on it and am doing it myself, which is probably a good thing, because after looking at it, I have decided to change the whole thing out to a newer set service....

If I ever had the chance I would love to install conduit in residential because then you can just pull the wiring out and push new through or add fiber optic line around the house etc. Its not expensive I don't know why they don't do it when they build.
