Got an invitation to work at a hunting lodge in Cantwell. They need a BIG organic garden, compost pile, green house and help with their wind, hydro and solar power. My dream.

Money? bah, screw it. They provide transportation from Anchorage (driving then snow machining) as well as room and board. I'm selling my car and going for it. I'm flying up the first week of April.

Yeeee frickin' Haawwww

Thanks for everyone's help.

I know! The pictures of the lodge are gorgeous. And they totally live by the "two week trial for both parties" so if either of us feel like it's not a good fit, it's no harm no foul. SUCH kind people.

And the Denali won't be open so we'll have to snow machine in the last 70 miles or so. I can't wait.

Won't be able to bike to town from there....:-)

Hope it works out...don't be afraid to cut the ties if it doesn't...there are plenty of places that will take you with that attitude.
