I was a little nervous before we took off (actually more nervous about flying in a bush plane that being near brown bears!) Don't deny yourself this great opportunity!
That sounds great! Any pics???

*Edit--Just saw your pics in the pic thread! They're fantastic!

The flight is a really pretty one as long as you have a clear sky! You can call around to some of the air carriers and see if they have flights that leave in those time frames.

In Homer and Anchorage there is a few of the air charters that have bears viewing tours. They fly out to Halo Bay, in Katmai National Park (where Timothy Treadwell was killed, known as the Grizzly Bear Man, or an idiot by others) and they fly along the beaches and you can see the bears by the dozens.

Hope your trip is a good one, Lake Clark Pass is really pretty to watch unfold below you as you travel out that direction as well! Take a good camera!
I just noticed that under your name its says "will fly for food"....

I'm a helluva cook. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

ahahaha...remember your suppose to take the idjit's like PETA up and shove them out of the plane AFTER you remove the door (too expensive to lose), taking one at a time will take forever! you need to take several at a time and have we two shove them on their way....or should you be giving a lift for the future ice worm harvesters??

Oh, that is easy! I just give them a map to show how they get to view Timothy Treadwell's historic camp site!

Should be a lot of well fed bears!
