My husband and I have been looking for land and/or cabin (with some acreage) for over a year checking daily on McKinley View Real Estate, Talkeetna Real Estate with Klaus Steigler and Trapline Realty with Paul & Diane Pesta. I've been working in Denali since May and am now here in Talkeetna until Monday afternoon so I can look at some properties. Have any of you had any experiences with either of the three agencies where you could give me some guidance as to whom I should call? Thank you in advance.

I've heard good things about Trapline but don't have any personal experience with them.

Thanks Granny, I appreciate it. I already sent them a DM suggesting that they work with one of the Talkeetna Realtors. Although I do occasionally sell property in Talkeetna, and more often list property in Talkeetna...I do not hold myself forth as someone who knows Talkeetna as well as one of the local Realtors. They live there and know the area better than I do.

I'm interested in relocating from Anchorage to either Talkeetna or the peninsula. I'm wanting land I can build (or have partially built w/my help) a cabin, garden, etc not on wetlands or floods every other year. I wouldn't mind having a tourist shop as I am creative and already have some things for sale at a tourist shop in SE. I have more plans than money. Marty, can you send me that reference too please?
