Cool! I really need to walk further down the Coastal Trail when I make it back to Anchorage.

That just wouldn't look right on skis or floats though....
I am at about 220tt, and about 90 multi.

It would be great on skis or floats. It is a wee bit underpowered. Great Instrument platform though.

That is great, I was going to go up past private years ago, but for the type of flying I do, just being basic works well. If the weather is marginal, I just stay put and drink too much coffee!

I've see a couple of muli's on floats, but they were in Canada.

You going for your Comercial ticket then?

Yep. I should be taking the commercial ride in a couple weeks I think.

Congratulations! You going to get your CFI as well to build hours or try to work the smaller airlines?

Thanks! I may get my CFI. I have been talking with the people at Ryan Air, so I hope that pans out. I dont think I would make a good CFI, so I might just build some more time and try for some more places in Alaska that will hire with low time.

I know quite a few guys that started out doing ramp and gopher work for Taquan Air after they had just gotten their pilots license. It didn't take'm too long to get into the pilots seat. Something to think about.
