Well it's started in the higher elevations a few weeks ago, the Fairbanks area is pretty much in full fall startup for the color changes!
I just re-watched the video on my home computer where I have sound. I didn't realize there was talking in the video, so I didn't hear the part about it being at high elevation. That stands to reason since you're over a mountain pass, but I didn't even think about it. That tundra is really gorgeous; I've never seen anything like that anywhere.
Thank you so much Star... I agree with you... it would be a favorite place to view fall. I absolutely love mother nature's paintbox this time of year... yes beautiful
This was about a week ago, I normally see between a couple to a couple dozen Caribou while going though Broad Pass, this is one I saw that had just crossed the road before I got to it. Most of the times you don't see them until you are either passing them or trying to get stopped so you don't hit them...
Thanks, had a great day... Dug out the motorcycle for the first ride this year! Really enjoyed the fall colors as they are starting to change! Only put about sixty miles on it, but was still neat to poke around. Maybe again tomorrow if the weather holds.
What a treat Star... thank you for the seasons there on Broad Pass... so breath takingly beautiful... enjoy your Friday and hope the weather holds for your bike ride...
Too hot here and I've got to get my driveway sealed!!... like working in a sauna LOL... I'll be thinking of your beautiful bike ride with the cool wind in your face... might make me cooler LOL
Was really pretty on the way down to Anchorage Monday, but didn't take any videos, maybe this next week!
Warp took some really nice photos headed North which were great!
