Lived up there for 8 years, off Wolverine Rd. It's like any place,it has it's positives and negatives. Had a nice view of Hatcher pass,the wells are iffy! I ended up hauling water and the wind blew so hard at times,you had to tie yourself down.
Other than that,I liked it OK!

I like the area a lot. Pretty reasonable mix of "real Alaska backwoods" and suburbanites. Gets a little rough down towards the Butte though.
