They've made it into the bookstore! In addition to textbooks, they also sell locally written novels, wildlife guides, office supplies, etc, plus everything you can imagine with UAS written all over it, and a ton of fair trade clothing, scarfs, and accessories. It's incredibly cool.
Right next door to the Thai place is a Waffle place now, which is also really neat.

Yea...the waffle shop was there when I was there. I had strawberry waffles and coffee for dinner on a cold, snowy night. They also have board games and cards in there, which is pretty cool. Great news about the bookstore. I'll have to check it out when I get up.

AsPilot.....great pics!!!

I had their strawberry waffles for lunch yesterday. Very yummy, but I ordered to go and by the time I ate it, the whipped cream had melted and it was very gooey! Still good, though. I wish they would make their ham and cheese waffles with chicken instead.
By the way, it makes me warm and fuzzy to receive rep points that simple say "WOW".

OMG...Yea they are the best. I never heard of ham and cheese waffles till I went there. Make a menu suggestion to the owner. I'll bet my coffee card is on the wall there still.. Be looking out for more rep points! You've always been real helpful with info....and I'm partial to SE!!!

Don't you hate it that someone has a camera with them at all times? I'm sure this guy did...

He'd need one of those tow trucks that can pull an 18 wheeler to get out of that ditch.

Well that has to be slick for a loader to be chained up! On the bright side he knew when to quit and not tear up the countryside getting out!
