My Daughter took this last year at the start of the Kobuk 440 sled dog race. Pretty neat, they all take off at once out onto the sea ice!

I Had never seen the start like that with dog teams, was pretty cool verses just one at a time out the gate! The race takes a few days to run out and back, but I guess the first few hours is intense as everyone jocky's for spots and sets paces.
Wanted to fly the Iditarod and just land at the checkpoints and watch the mushers go by. The one year I was setup for the trip, I got hurt and couldn't fly, never had things lined up to do it again at the same time.
