Sounds like there will be a 3rd party on the ticket. Will it be Palin?

Personally I want to see Herman Cain go for it. Out of all the 'clowns' he makes the most sense to me.

Someone has a big surprise to unveil soon.. (chuckle)

I certainly hope not. His proposed 9% national sales tax would be disastrous for the poorest of the poor. Imagine that, along with state and local sales taxes, where they apply, added to the price of FOOD. It would be worse than inflation in the 70s.

After Sarah Palin rant the other day about how Obama wants to bring us back to pre-civil war days, somehow I doubt she has very much political credibility....

Well Obama has pretty much done a lot more damage than that. Tripled national debt, double gas prices, pushing class warfare, destroying the best healthcare system in the world, claiming he has done things he clearly hasn't. And now appears to have post a phoney birth certificate according to the Arizona's sheriff's report, the certificate is layered and not a one time stamp, which shows it was Forged in stages. Appears the seal was also lifted from a newer cert, which wasn't used that year. So it will be interesting to say the least.

If it is found that he wasn't born in the US as claimed, all laws and treaties he signed would be void and illegal. That will do more harm than most people can imagine!

I don't think Palin running would be unheard of... Like her or not!

There are just as many articles out there that say the same for the other party. And it's debatable too about our healthcare being the finest-as a mother of a type 1 diabetic-thus a pre-existing medical condition-it is imperative for her to not be denied insurance coverage during a waiting period. Her meds cost hundreds of dollars per month, about as much as a car payment.

It's all in how a story is spun. I'm not saying everything is rosy on either side but just that things can get manipulated one way or the other. There are bills and laws being proposed and enacted that are steadily becoming more invasive and the Republican party has changed a great deal. For being a party that stands for less government, they have managed to get to the point that an employee in Wisconsin, for example, can be fired for just using a contraceptive.

Clearly, in this commentary made by Palin, she was responding to the civil rights movement but somehow managed to misinterpret her time periods again to events that took place a century earlier than what Barack Obama was doing in the movement verses the Civil War. Big difference and I'm pretty sure her handlers are wishing that someone had duct taped her mouth. This is not the first time she has badly mangled history. A good leader, be it from any party, must understand basic historical facts.

I wish we could meet in the middle and work together as I am a moderate.

Obama could allow drilling in the US to lower the gas prices and give the companies tax breaks to do so. I have done a bit of reading on the health care, with SO MANY COMPANIES who will be dropping it healthcare for employees, the expected cost to the average US citizen will DOUBLE the cost of what your employers are paying now. So if they pay $400 a month now it will cost you $800 under the NHCP.

Well the doubling of gas prices since Obama took Office is hard to spin other than he has shut down all offshore drilling, and ramped up EPA regulations to where nobody can do much of anything. He promised the health care bill would cost only so much, yet that has doubled as of a few days ago when the report came out.

If there is a truth to what Obama and the Democratic controlled Senate and House did to the country in his first two years that was good and not making stuff worse now, I'd love to be made aware of it?

He has kept none of his promises other than putting power plants out of business through excessive regulations.

The problem is that Obamacare will make it extremely expensive for all the Americans who want or need insurance. My cost of insurance at work will double this year in anticipation to Obamacare. At the same time, the Obama administration has given breaks relating to not purchasing Obamacare, to certain unions, some companies, and government workers; all this while imposing rules on the Catholic church to provide contraception and the rest. One of numerous reasons why Obamacare will make it difficult is forcing parents to buy healthcare for their "children" to the age of 26.
