I think that you have a warped view of entrepeneurs - I am a man who has worked blue collar jobs all my life(I am 35). I never got a job from a poor man - and the companies that kept me hired were those that did well - I have been laid off - but at least those companies knew that they wern't doing well and had the sense to to cut expenses before they became bankrupt(they only cut the new hires - and that was a smart move}. I ended up at places that had better foresight.

I have the skills and drive to become an entrepeneur and I will do it - I will never think that being interested in profit is bad - and my business will create jobs for those who need them.

Alaska Airlines is a pretty nice business - they take care of their customers - and I think that translates into their taking care of their employees. One of my objectives is to become an aviionics technician for an airline - and my first choice would be my favorite airline- Alaska - with whom I have been flying with for 30 years.

I was so happy when I moved back to Alaska to see the friendly face on Alaska Airline planes. We always flew on AA when I was a kid and I preferred them (and United Airlines for some reason).
