In Bethel a RN can make anywhere from $30 to $45 per hour, depending on specialty:
Employment Opportunities: Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation (http://jobs-ykhc.icims.com/ykhc_jobs/jobs/candidate/jobs.jsp?ss=1&searchKeyword=&searchLocation=&searc hCategory=8477&searchRadius=5&searchZip= - broken link)

No trees for your husband in Bethel, but plenty of other jobs for somebody who wants to work.

If your a nursing student best move to Anchorage so you can finish your degree. My wife graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with her RN ticket. Good luck.
In the 16 years since she graduated she has never had a problem in finding a nursing job anywhere we went in Alaska.
