Well, I have never cut up a salmon... just bass, crappe, trout and catfish. I want to try salmon and especially halbut.

Drive a sled? No, but would love to learn, run a trap line? nope, but would be fun to learn. Would like to learn to use an ulu knife, that would be a fun experience. I have a list of things I am going to do when I move to Anchorage in '09. You could send me links to sites that would teach that sort of thing. I wanna learn fly-fishing, experience a dog-sled ride, snowshoe in the snow, hmmmm - kayaking, canoing, oh, lots of stuff. Wanna go on photo shoots, explore and discover - of course when I am not working. (smile)

(snicker) Well, Rance I've done some but not all on your list...
Cute? well that is a matter of opinion... I think at my age I lost it years ago
Fish cleanin? yep, done that
Trail hikin? yep, done that, even outta breath a few times
sled staring? Well, depends on what you define as a sled... the kid down the hill kinda sled or the dog pulling kinda sled... done the downhill thing, not the dog thing.
Wood carrying? yep, done that lots of times
hook baiting? yep, done that too.. live, dead and fake
weed pullin? yep, weeds everywhere
clam diggin? nope, can't say I've done that before, seen it on tv with Dirty Jobs.

Do I pass? huh? huh? do I? do I? pick me! oh, pick me!! (lol with a big smile)

I am from the New England coast, we have all kinds of shellfish. What type of "clams" do you have there? Curious

Lobster is dead common here in Maine! When I was a kid we lived on the south shore of Massachusetts, we had Cherrystones, Razor clams, Quohaogs, Perriwinkles and muscles. I've dug clams and harvested Cranberries in the same town on the same day. If I DO ever make it up there I will be sure to bring you some good Maine lobster

Some women are breeders and some are workhorses. But I'm going to say that contrary to popular opinion, the workhorses don't always make better wives.
