I'm going to be in Juneau for a few days in January. Any tips / suggestions on fun things to do there? Or places to eat? Thanks!

There's not as much to do in the winter as there is in the summer.
You might try some research on the TripAdvisor Forums for Juneau: Juneau Forum, Travel Discussion for Juneau, AK

Eaglecrest ski area would be a good start.

Cross country skiing is also popular if you are into outdoor activities.

As it gets closer, check out jahc.org It lists community events

Just got back from Juneau. Eaglecrest skiing was great, no wait to get on any lift, and the instructors were wonderful The entire area was absolutely beautiful, I really loved it. I would insert a picture of Mendenhall Glacier here, but it looks like it has to be on a web server, rather than directly uploaded...

It was warmer than I expected, mid 30's - low 40's. I was hoping to see some snow flurries, but no luck.

Still, it was a lot of fun. If anyone is looking to go skiing without a lot of crowds, you should consider a trip to Juneau.
