I am iced in and it makes me so g-damn mad. I suppose I'll have to take a skiff out to the float plane--oh, that's right, the skiff is trapped in ice. It's the panhandle for crying out freakin' loud.

Anyone out there want to air drop me some Captain Morgan's?

Uh oh! If it keeps up much longer you may have to eat your own appendages for sustenance! Or you could go tourist hunting (there's still a few of 'em wandering around, I'm sure... ones that missed the boat and are now desititute and living on the streets...), that's sure to occupy your mind...

I took one of those personality test things and one of the fictitious characters I had the same traits as was Hannibal Lecter. Seriously. I don't know how good of eating destitute touron would be though.

Speaking of movies it's gonna end up like "The Shining" out here I think...

well, too bad you're not trapped closer to here. I 'd grab a case, throw it on the sled and drag it out to ya....

You'd be my hero then.

When I get back to somewhere else, I'm going to make a good strong tasty.

Some brown sugar, butter, nutmeg and cinnamon, and some french vanilla ice cream...in the bottom of a (big) cup. Dump in quite a bit of Morgans, add hot water, and stir. It tastes just like manna from heaven.

So it's that cold in southeast to feeze seawater? Dang. I left a bottle of water in my truck last night...and it had no ice what so ever! On the north slope! This winter has been backa$$wards!

This is unusual for this part of SE, Rance. Last year we had some frozen water too though. As long as it ain't cold enough to freeze Captain Morgans I probably shouldn't ***** though.

This is a dry camp though. I did get caught with beer though and it made me feel all middle schoolish and giggly. What are they going to do about it anyway, spank me?

I worked for the forest service on Kuiu Island back in the late 70's at a logging camp. There were cases of beer and what not you could see from the dock laying there all content in about 20 or 30 foot of water. The logging outfit would check baggage as guys flew in. And booze was dumped over the dock, and the logger was put back on the plane. Funny thing nobody would ever dive in after the beer or booze. Because most had it smuggled in via a private vessle or by us forestry guys and were never without.
