A friend of mine has a four motor heli-drone. It uses a gps to navigate and it's pretty sweet. He has a Gopro mounted under it.

I'm going to start shooting these things out of the sky if I find them over my property. Not loving the drones and the spying.

That little drone is quite small. It would have to be flying low and very close. Maybe you can shoot it off the sky like a duck.

~just kidding with you

The State legislature has recently prohibited the use of drones for hunting. However, it occurred to me that an enterprising individual may be able to find a way around the law.

For example, a drone could be used to spot moose or other game in certain GMUs, and that information and video is then streamed online to the Internet, where people could subscribe to your streaming website for a fee.

Technically, the drone operator is not violating the law because they are not hunting. It would be the subscribers who might be considered violating the law, but even that is questionable since they are using the Internet while hunting, and not a drone.

That would not be a financially wise course of action. If you are close enough to shoot one down, then it was close enough to positively identify the shooter. These drones range in price from a few hundred to several thousand dollars, and then there are the attorney fees to consider.
