I am getting into sea kayaking this spring and just wondering if any fellow Alaska cders happen to share the hobby. Too bad it is such a seasonal hobby up here, lol.

Seriously, in a former life I kayaked fairly extensively in the San Juan Islands and the lower Inside Passage.

I have not kayaked anywhere in Alaska, although after a new 30-06 and a new computer, a sea kayak is on my shopping list.

It is a great hobby, and a great way to experience the sea and shore.

Have fun . . .

cool!

That would make it an all-season hobby.

However, I wonder if his kayak will still float come spring?

lol, nice video. Maybe someday that will become a popular sport. If you ever get back into it, let me know Barn. I will probably do a lot of kayak fishing.

Loving inside waterways the way I do, I hope someday to spend a couple of months in the summer kayak-camping/fishing my way around Prince William Sound.

I will be sure and post an invite here for people to join me when I do.

Unfortunately, I tend to be quite busy in the summer . . .

Hey Warpt, nice video! but... I think I'll take that sport up shortly after I have perfected my barehanded porcupine juggling.
