I'm use to getting a couple local channels and using the internet for tv/movies. Just wondering if there is any antenna reception in Wasilla.....

sounds like I should be able to get something, but yes, I do understand you can't get reception through mountains.

This is going back a bunch of years but when I lived in Wasilla about all I could get was channel 2 out of Anchorage. Their antenna tower was at Point Mackenzie.

I thought I'd try a digital antenna. I have an old school one I will try when I get there, but I would like to compare the two, if no one else has done it yet.

The biggest thing is where your house is at. The Valley is a serious of hills. If you are down in hole between two high points, you'll get nothing. If you up where you get line of sight to tower, you'll do okay.

Thought I would revisit this thread, now that we live here in Houston. We get 14 channels, maybe 6 that we watch. Not bad for just antenna!

Thanks! I'm sure I'll pass you on the road sometime, I usually wave if there isn't too many cars.
