It started, the big meltdown of winter. It only got up to 29 above, but the sun melts everything. Here is one of the main streets in bethel, 3rd Avenue...

Default How far north is far enough?

I used to live in Bethel. Too warm, I moved north... three times, actually! If this danged global warming gets any worse, I'll have to move to northern Greenland.

This is what winter is supposed to be like (it was about -20F with an 18 mph wind this afternoon when the picture was taken):

I havent seen rain in a while. It was sprinkling in Ketchikan, and Seattle though.
