Interesting... They are expensive but I haven't had to trade in my G5 system for a faster PC equivalent in 5 years. I'm running dual 1.8ghz processors & 6.5gb of ram but I'm still going strong.

I paid the same for the last two computers that I've bought (apple macbook and hp tx2000z) and with the hp I got a 2 mgpxl webcam (instead of a sucky vga), a touch screen with active digitizer (so I can draw on it), a dvd writer w/ a laser etcher for labels, a fingerprint reader (yay for schwag!), and 2 gigs of ram instead of 1.

It is. I'm fairly certain that it has the capability to grill me a turkey burger, clean my room, and launch nuclear missiles against russia, if only I could figure out how!!
Haha...

Oh, you mean you've got something negative to say about Haines too? By all means, do tell. We all want to hear about how years ago some person got blugeoned with an eagle.

I'm waiting on Majik to start a post on living in Southeast now. He's got the arctic covered, seems to be an expert up north.

I think I remember reading somewhere that someone once died after an eagle dropped a turtle on his head. I guess I was expecting something like that, but you're right- death by crow is a much more fitting end for us ingrates who actually like Southeast.
