My brother, a statistic freak, graduated in Business from William & Mary, not a hunter or fisher, he plays golf. He sent the following data.

Number of Physicians in the U.S. ------ 700,000
Number of accidental deaths per
physician/year------------------------ 120,000
deaths/doctor/year------------------- .171

Number of Gunowners----------------- 80,000,000
Number of accidental deaths per
year from gunowners of all age groups-- 1500
accidental deaths/gun owner/year------ .000188

Sooooooooooo, statistically speaking, Doctors are 9000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

My brother also said that "Out of concern for the public at large I withheld the statistics on Lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention."
