There are so many drones out there. Can anyone recommend some reliable ones that work with IPAD? Also, which ones have the longest flight time. Batteries are a pain to charge especially if you have an hour between charges. Fly 10 minutes and charge for an hour..repeat.

Well I have the Phantom 3, of which there is a few different models
.
They fly about 20 to 25 minutes depending on what you're doing and about 30 minutes to charge. So I have a few extra batteries.

Your ipad will work great with it. Go to youtube and search "Drone", there id thousands of videos!

If you were a less than responsible drone owner and brought a plane down or did significant damage to a plane.

Geese/birds bring down a lot of planes, yes some idiot can fly a drone into illegal airspace.

Sadly there are people that have been shooting down planes since man first took to the skies, drones sre just a whipping child of those that dont know better.

I'm much more worried what the government does with drones.

Geese and birds are understood by pilots to be hazards and the big ones that can do damage have predictable migratory patterns and are listed on sectionals. Drones are totally random and metal and plastic on a large drone can do WAY more damage than a bird.

As far as getting sucked into a turbine it might be a wash but I garentee that a drone hitting my prop would be WAY worse than a bird.

The issue is the only way to bring them down is with a laser, if you use a shot gun your going to be in hot water and the drones usually record everything that happens so your rear end will be in a sling. But if you pop on with a laser from a distance they have their thumbs up their rear ends, they will take a huge financial loss with no recourse lol.
