It's been 35 years.

https://www.investigationdiscovery.c.../murder-at-sea

ETA it's about the murders on the seiner Investor in Craig back in 1982.

I didn't get a chance to watch it, but did read a recent article about the guy everyone swears did it.

I vaguely remember the name of the boat. The murder I'm more familiar with in Craig is that 16 year old girl who put a contract out on her mother.

Except she didn't actually take out a contract on her mother. The whole mess was terribly unseemly, though.

Rance, I think you can watch the show through the link I posted if you're interested. Yeah, most people think John Peele did it -- another theory is that the owner of the seiner was running drugs, which -- well, the numbers never did add up for how he managed to buy a million dollar boat after only seining a few years. But I tend to think that Peele did it -- the whole thing was pretty amateurish. Whoever did it tried to hide the boat, but it was in plain sight when my grandmother and I came around the corner on Craig-Klawock highway.

I was hoping to watch it online but the page would not load correctly in Firefox. Maybe I'll try it in Chrome later tonight or this weekend.

Oh... maybe i should disable all of my ad blockers etc. I'll try that.

Mine loads OK ... I'm using V52 of FF but I needed the HTML5 Plugin to play it because I'm still using Win XP.

I am envious that you still have XP. I'll monkey with it and try again this weekend.

Best platform Windows ever had. Tried Win 7 - hate it. Tried Win 10 and that is a total piece of crap - horrible.

Less and less support for XP and it gets slowly squeezed out.

Agree 100% that XP was their best OS ever. I still pack around the hard drive from my last XP machine for the "someday" that I'll get it rebuilt. Maybe if I stayed in one place long enough to unpack I might get it done sometime.

If you hated Win 7 I definitely do not recommend anything beyond that. I have Win 8 at home and have disabled every stupid chingadera, wingding, chime, and annoyance I possibly could, and still find it to be stunningly irritating.
