Every spring the Bethel Council On The Arts hosts Native dancers from around the delta, state, nation, and world. Here are a few shots from tonight. I'll get more tomorrow.

Hey Warpt, do you have more pictures of the Mt. Edgecumbe dancers? I don't know if my granddaugter is part of the group, but she was telling me a month ago that she hoped to be selected.

I just love that third picture down! Everyone in it as a priceless expression.

If you see a little girl with one eye that doesn't move (it's a glass eye), get a good picture of her.

But even if she isn't there, a good picture of the whole group would be fun. I can download it, and send it to her. She'll enjoy knowing that Ap'a is watching...

Fantastic!

I don't see my granddaugter, but I can't really be sure. She said they were going to take 10 students, and I guess there are quite a few, so she probably wasn't selected.

I just downloaded the last one, Edgecumbe4Large.jpg, and sent it to her with email. If she's in Sitka and answers, I'll get her to tell us who each of the dancers are.
