I'll admit to sneaking one across the Canadian border twice, years ago. I forgot it was in the car when we crossed and sweated about it when we came back. Fortunately we weren't searched and they didn't ask any weapon questions. I probably should have tossed the spray before the return trip.

Score one for...the bears!
Last fall, there was a doctor on a hunting trip, who was mauled by a brown bear. At the time, he was on the beach taking pictures when the bear charged him from the woods. He had a gun, but it happened so quickly, he only had time to fire a warning shot as the bear hit him and dragged him into the water. He was lucky that the bear lost interest and left him there.
