ok, it was long, tiresome, sometimes scary and expensive but we are in Juneau. I'll post later about "issues" like lying realtors calling a 2 bedroom house a 3 bedroom house!!!!........but for now let me just say that I have been all over the U.S. and have seen some beautiful and some not so beautiful cities but Juneau is THE Most Beautiful city I have ever seen. Everywhere one looks there is just awesome and breathtaking beauty. The citizens seem really laid-back and very nice and very customer service oriented. I wake up eaely each day anticipating my new life here and enjoy every minute.

Welcome to Juneau. Sorry you've come in during the power problem, but it should only last a few months. If you have any specific questions, please ask as there are a lot of smart people here.

Upload them to a host like photobucket or imageshack.us and then copy/paste the links into your text box (where you write to make a post).
Congrats on the move. Sounds like your gonna love it in Juneau.

Do yourself a favor if you haven't already and take a little hike out there by the Mendenhall Glacier...especially if you have snowshoes or skiis. I love the idea that I can walk on a frozen lake all the way to a frozen waterfall and the glacier....unless of course, it's already thawing up there....then....that would be a BAD idea!
