Thank you very much. The inmates are running the asylum in that craphole state. Some of the insane radical crap that goes on in that loony bin boggles the mind. Just today the California Supreme Court overruled the will of the people again. The social engineering imposed by arrogant, activist judges is one of the primary reasons that I always vote for the most conservative candidates in an election.

That sales tax only applies to purchases within Wasilla city limits.

Default Awww

I made a huge mistake last year and left my home of Anchorage for Southern California. How crazy am I! Sad thing is that I was warned!!!! Even worse thing is that I may never be able to return due to hubbie's work needing to be in a year-round warm climate. We're thinking Texas possibly. Texas may not be Alaska but it beats the heck outta SoCal! So to those there now, please enjoy my home that I miss so dearly.

Not sure how voting for the most conservative candidate is any better than someone voting for the most liberal. What exactly do you disagree so much with? Peoples right to live their own life? People having equal rights?

Hi, I have never been to California, nor do I want to ever go there. Texas, hmmm...too hot lol. So tell us, what is it you miss about Alaska?

The people of CA voted down that oxymoron known as "gay marriage" by a margin of 61-39. Then four idiot judges decided to create a constitutional "right" that is based upon a behavior, not a definable physical characteristic.

Marriage is between a man and a woman....period. Why 3-5% of the population think they have the right to use the judicial system to impose their "lifestyle" on a population that doesn't want the institution of marriage to be warped in this fashion is beyond me. That's how contemporary "progressives" get their moronic agenda interjected into society. They know that they can't do it via most legislatures so they use the judicial system to do it by fiat.

Oh well, it looks like the pro-family folks will get this on the ballot in November and then this whole charade will be put to rest for once and all, at least in California.

Don't ever go there, trust me. My head is still clearing from the cloud of ridiculous "progressive" group-think which permeates that nutfarm. The Bay Area was getting close to enacting a $.10/gallon tax on gasoline to help fund initiatives to fight that fraud known as "global warming." It's enough to make one's head spin.

Enlighten me as to why you seem to be so hateful towards others private lives? You use the phrase "imposing their lifestyle"....how are gay people imposing their lifestyle on you? Haven't heterosexuals been imposing their lifestyles on others since god knows when?

Hmm, disagreeing with the homosexual lifestyle and not wanting it's influence rotting this nation's bedrock Judeo-Christian system of ethics and morals is "hateful" eh? How predictable. I don't care what gays do in private, it's when they try to force their lifestyle down people's throats where I draw the line.

That is quite possibly one of the most baffling statements that I've ever read. Honestly, do you even realize how ridiculous that sounds?
