I am moving to Alaska, thinking Juneau is the ticket (jobs). Where will I fit in if I'm a political junkie, quasi intelligent (oh gee..I think so!) and I have two small pets...at least that is what I'll be reduced to when
I get there. And as to getting there...looking for all the help I can get :-)

This forum is awesome....Alaska folk are very interesting indeed!

Conservatives have red blood!? This is new news to me, I thought ya'all had blue blood.

Moving on- Juneau is politically very liberal. There are conservatives that live here, but as a community we tend to be progressive.

I was reading an article in the ADN about how a study showed that Alaska may be one of the old GOP strongholds that's going to be going blue this election...

I really wonder if there's anyone worth voting for this time around. It just seems like more of the same to me.

Yep! We don't even have a choice for a lesser of two evils this time.

You should move to Homer so there will be seven of us conservatives here.

There is no conservative running for president in this election: There is the choice between a Marxist and a Socialist-lite.
