How many miles a week do you drive in Barrow?

FWIW, I do the same on my truck when it gets low. Even at $3.79/gal - 38 gals is still alot of coin.

I think between my truck and car we drive 10-15 miles a week. But when it gets really cold we spend maybe 10-15 mins warming up our vehicles which uses more gas then most people realize.

I idle my truck a lot too. I do realize how much it burns. You probably burn more on warm-up than driving.

McGrath. The barge just came and it went up a quarter to around 7.45 or so. When we don't run a boat, we can get by on 5 gal a week on the 4 wheeler, and 10 a week on the snowmachine. When it is 25 below, we walk if we have to as usually can not get snowmachine running. No wind.
