I remember being an adult (26), and major snow in Mpls/St. Paul, gramma agreed to watch the kids for the day if end result was best dinner....and going down the street for the hey of it with some friends, we go $20 per sidewalk..., but like almost 18" of snow or more...depending on drifts....then when done for the day, walked to the grocery store, bought mega food and cooked....so fun....Love shoveling for a purpose....and was well worth it...no kids for the day, good workout, wonderful dinner....
