They must have neglected to mention D.C. vs Heller on talk radio....I doubt your gun rights will be going the way of habeas corpus any time soon.

how hard it it to come by .20 gauge shells, 7mm .22, and .243 bullets in a town of like 2,500 people? (Dillingham)

I haven't personally been in the Alaska Commerical Company store in Dillingham but the one's in Nome and Barrow carried a wide variety of ammo. You could always call them and ask.

Yeah, not totally sure why that is but 7 mm is definitely one of the more common calibers used here in Alaska. You start paying more for off-beat handgun calibers or specialty calibers and they can be hard to find.

You're a good sport. Sorry for being a troll. (But I was taken aback by the thread, being the effete easterner that I am. I mean, around here, for example, when you take your child for a first visit to a pediatrician, they ask the kids if there are guns in the house! For real! I wonder what they would do if you said yes???)

dont forget those hillbillies! my dad gave a .22 rifle for my 6th birthday. Only to use when he is around of course. I wouldn't trade my kentucky childhood for anything =)

Have I told you folks how much I truly hate California lately? My father-in-law is in for Thanksgiving and went to buy a .300 Winchester Magnum at my wife's Walmart to store here for future hunting visits. The fact that he showed a CA drivers license stopped the purchase.

Just what the hell is it with those idiots running the largest state(economically) in the Union? I am so glad I escaped that insanity.

exotic is never good, 9mm and 12 gauge is hard to get rid of, even for a skilled totalitarian mind.
