It's spreading like wildfire. Kind of like a tupperware party but in this one you talk about guns and stuff. Tinhats welcome.

Not to put a damper on anybody's party but gun control would probably be a less of an issue if RESPONSIBLE ADULTS could keep guns out of the hands of irresponsible kids.

Just google 'high school shootings' to get an idea of how irresponsible these adults are. Both with their weapons and control (or even interest) of their kids.

Any suggestions to fix this? Please don't say 'arm every school kid and educator'.

And it's not just in the U.S. - it's kids gone wild. BAN THE INTERNET but keep the guns.

What if YOUR kid(s) were victims - possible anarchy would be the ultimate solution.

What is going on is crazy and the blame fully rests with the adults!!!!!

BTW I am NOT in favor of restrictive gun control.

The last shot fired in the last Civil War occurred in Alaska, so it would not be fair if we started this one.

What I have bolded above simply is not true.

10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
The 10th Amendment is intended to limit the powers of the United States government to only those powers specifically granted by the US Constitution. All other powers, except for those the US Constitution specifically prohibits, belongs to the States and/or the people.

The States rights issue has been on the table since we started this country. It's a good thing for the states to draw a broad line in the sand - er- snow to get the conversation rolling, and to remind "We the People" to get up off the couch, put the dang remote down, and pay attention to the country. If this and the other state resolutions open conversations and force a Constitutional Convention, it could be the best thing that happens to us. I'd rather see a ConCon first before we drop into Civil War. I hope the powers that be are thinking clearly. No matter your political leanings, prayers (good thoughts, light beams, whatever floats your boat) for wisdom for all US leaders seem to be in order.

God bless us every one...

Indeed, if we think that either a Civil War or a Constitutional Convention have value, we need a blessing from somewhere, and soon, because sanity has surely escaped us at that point.

Or to put it differently, a Constitutional Convention is not quite as bad as Civil War, but neither should be wished on our worst enemy.

Yeah, Floyd, you're right. Hawaii had a ConCon about 30 some odd years ago, and in truth, things just got worser (as my kids love to say...) Made it MORE of the socialist republic of Hi. A few good changes, but, oh my...

Still, ConCon beats Civil War...
