At 10:51 PM Alaskan Daylight Time on July 29, an earthquake with preliminary magnitude 4.1 occurred 35 miles/56 Km northwest of Palmer, Alaska.

We just had a jolt on the peninsula at 2:39, but was listed as unknown so far...

The 2:39 one (7/30/09) rattled the dishes pretty good down here in Seward. "Magnitude Unknown", but they say it was 57 miles west of here. (do a Google search for "alaska earthquakes recent) No damage, that I know of.
