Just when you think the idjits couldn't possibly get any thicker...

I was just now reading the local police report. One of the items was that a black bear was seen by the creek.

I truly do despair.

This is what I mean about how rural Alaska is being killed by idjits et al.

Calling the cops on a fing bear.

LOL I wish I could find the letter to the editor in the paper here from a few months ago where someone complained that a bear in town should have been a front page story. Funny in a sad sort of way...

Imagine that... calling the cops on a bear in the woods, what's next calling
on criminals in prison.

But the question is what was Mr Bear (gotta show respect for the bruin)
doing at the creek, some nefarious activity?
Salmon poaching...did he have a permit...did he need one?
Public indecency..hey he didn't have any clothes on.

Also was the caller myopic and maybe thought it was a guy in a fur coat?
O.k. it's summer so have to face that the caller was an idjit.

Maybe it was Bigfoot who looked like a bear. We hear all about bear sightings being mistaken to be a Bigfoot maybe this was the opposite.

Agreed. If I see a bear around town I will let the police know.

What was the bear doing in the woods anyway? He ought to go back to where he belongs. Oops.

I can understand calling the cops in Anchorage if you spot one at Dimond Center, but not if you're on the Kenai. I wouldn't call the cops if I saw one in Russian Jack Springs Park in Anchorage. Some folks have no sense of propriety.
