If anyone new to alaska has yet to see any belugas whales yet, head south of anchorage to turnagain arm. It was choked full of them today. It was pretty awesome. they were breaching right next to the shore. At high tide when it went slack and was calm you could see them blowing everywhere.
My 7 year had excitement overload.
