this is all theoretical of course, but suppose an idjit put a bottle of Irish Cream in the freezer and it froze solid. It might not be the best idea to put the frozen bottle in the microwave to unthaw it.

Default Unthaw?

If someone unthaws something doesn't that mean they are freezing it ?

LOL--hell. I guess I still have time to edit it but I won't. I guess the theoretical idjit in question doesn't need anymore Irish Cream anyway.

No matter what you do, if you (theoretical "you") heat it up faster than just putting it on the counter, chances are good the bottle will crack and you'll have a mess soon enough.

Personal experience has taught me on that one. Definitely don't microwave it or put it in hot water.

Hahaha, oh no!

My mom microwaved a boiled egg once. I told her not too. It didn't explode until she took it out and held the plate near her face. She wasn't burned too badly, and the egg on the ceiling was a nice touch to the kitchen.

Oh, i guess I used the word right according to this free dictionary thing

unthaw - definition of unthaw by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.

Quote:
Verb 1. unthaw - become or cause to become soft or liquid
I agree that it makes no grammatical sense.

I wonder if you could break the bottle & remove the contents as a solid mass...
