My boss just got treated for prosatate cancer, and they used the proton beam therapy down in Loma Linda, CA. He was there for 3 months getting a 20 minute dose every day. Pricey though. He says to look up the Brotherhood of the Balloon (BOB) on prostate treatment.

There is a number of treatments that work well. I looked at prostate removal, but there is about a 40% chance of getting a nerve nicked and having to wear a bag on your leg for the rest of your life. Have had people meaning well and telling me about herbal meds that work, magnets and others that I thanked them for but decided to go with the beads for starters. I am suppose to have direct Radiation as the next step, that is five days a week for five weeks... not thrilled about that and I do want to get a second opinion about that, it tends to kill off other organs in the area too.

Seems that the beads have a very high success rate on their own merit, so I will be thinking that one over...

If you have your prostate removed would you be able to get any more erections?

Bark..there is google...I will probably get banned but...a lot can depend on your ED status before treatment or surgery...depends on the extent of disease (prostate cancer) and type of treatment...most men risk incontinence to some extent or ED...but now they have oral agents on a daily or every other day basis in a low dose on a rehabilitation scheme to hopefully get back function or go to other alternatives, such as a vacuum pump, injection therapy, suppository or implant...incontinence improves with time, sometimes anticholenergics and Kegel exercises. Now there is the alternative of not being treated in some way...

Oh boy, nothing like asking the direct questions! :

And I have no answer... except that the new pills do circumvence the lack of neurlogical pathways. And medicare refunds this pump device that also works wonders I hear.
To come out clean... I have no problems. But being together only say three times a year I used once the pill- and she threw away the rest. Go figure out.

Mark, Thanks for sharing your story. It was both informative and very humorous. In real estate they say location x3 is important.I say in medical issues its attitude x3.You have all the judges giving you straight 10's for attitude. You have motivated to make the tunnel movie. Today i went to the doc and i'm wearing my first halter top.I was also fitted with some pasties and the hot nurse missed my nipples completely. The pasties are attached to little device that will record my dirty thoughts tonight. She invited me back to rip off the pasties and listen to my dirty thoughts tomorrow. They tried to tell me they want to monitor my heart for 24hrs. but i know better.Fifty is the new brad pitt to all these young women wearing blue and green pajamas.
