Hi there folks, great forum! Seems like there's lots of interesting people willing to share information around here. I'm graduating from law school in about 8 months. Looking to be top third, *** laude, law review, moot court at a tier 1 law school. I guess this qiestion's directed towards the attorneys who may be on the board: Are there many entry-level attorney positions in Alaska? I've been poking around, but am having trouble figuring out the likelihood of someone from the Lower-48 getting a job prior to passing the Alaska bar. Anyone else been in a similar position or able to share some insight? Thanks in advance.

Im not from Alaska, but unless you have a speciality or are interested in public sector work, it seems unlikely there are many opportunities. It really depends on what you want. Although - I did see some positions there about 7 months ago- but for more senior attnys.
