Pretty up there. My Nikon camera battery was non-cooperational so I threw the camera over the side of the road..............

16 degrees. roads in sections are slick but fairly clear. only saw a couple 18 wheelers coming from Tok. Nice day. Back now safe and sound in fog city.

It also depends on where in anchorage you are at, it takes me about 20 miles just to get out of anchorage where the mile marks start ticking.

I took some photos...but my daughter took off with my camera as soon as I got back. When I snag the card back I'll load some up.

During the summer on a good day with little traffice and no construction you can make it to the glacier in about 2 hours. In the winter closer to 2.5 to 3 hours.

Thanks all, debating whether to make the trip while on vacation. We went there on our honeymoon 11 years ago and enjoyed it.
