I can never understand why people would buy a house jammed up to another one if they have the money for some privacy. I'd much rather have an old farmhouse on some land.

Hi guys, here I am!

Met, I LOVE those tumbleweeds! Seems all you'd have to do is build 'em on any number of these old trailers laying around southeast - viola, no taxes! I've been thinking of trying to build a couple little cabins to go along with the floathouse for tourist rentals, this is a much better idea! I could scatter a few down by the beach.

Here's my cabin at the end of the road. It's 24x24 with a 3/4 loft. Works out to be about 900 sq. ft. living space. First tho, you gotta see what I bought

Now it looks like this:

Wanna see some of the inside? Here's the breakfast nook next to the kitchen

Here's my little office corner in the loft where I talk to you;

And the necessary room out back

Me too, it encompasses everything I love about old country houses in the south and Alaska. I love the bowls with the doilies and the walkway.
