I was at the Alaska Fish and Game site, trying to see what different types of licenses cost, but the graph/grid they have set up formats weird. Maybe its my computer, maybe not, regardless, I can't make heads or tails of it, soooo... to any outdoor enthusiasts, or people who know, what are the costs for:

A Year-long Fishing License (and does that cover salt and freshwater fish?)
Do Salmon require stamps like trout do?
A Deer License?
An Elk License?

Please assume a resident's cost, not an out of state visitor. Thanks a bunch.

Kings require a separate stamp. Salt water and fresh water are the same license but you must annotate certain species as to date and qty.

Oops. I think this year a residents license is $34.00 with a king stamp.

Default complicated

Fishing in AK can get complicated, especially if you're talking about King salmon or fishing on the Kenai, they've got dozens of specific regulations just for that river alone. Best bet, get your Alaska drivers licence first, then go to a real gun shop/outdoor store and talk to the guys there when you buy your hunting/fishing licence. This specifically excludes the rifle & rod department at WallyWorld, their guys run the gamut from reasonably knowledgable to drool-wipers and you never know who you're gonna get that day.

I agree the Alaska Fish and Game site is hard to navigate. Its getting easier though compared to before websites.

Alaska is divided up into UNITs and each one is different.

It can be complicated with rules changing every year.

king Salmon require stamps and game require tags. Stamps cost and some tags are free.

Hawaii requires no fishing licenses for anybody! Alaska offers residents over 60 fishing/hunting/trapping licenses free for life. You still need to buy king stamps and tag your game whether you take it yourself or not by proxy. In other words you need the paperwork.
