Are there many cosmetic Drs doing plastic surgery in NM/Albq? More specific I am a nurse that does facial injections and in some states Rn's can do that and in some states has to be a PA or Dr. And then in general are there many good paying nursing jobs?

I am not sure how many doctors are doing plastic surgery in Albuquerque. There do seem to be at least a handful of places that are med spa types. One off the top of my head that is advertised a lot is Bair Medical Spa. I don't know about the regulations as far as RNs doing the injections versus PAs.

You could probably find the names of plastic surgeons on google or dex online. And maybe the state licensing board could provide the other information.

In general there do seem to be a lot of good paying nursing jobs. It seems like there are nursing shortages everywhere. However the more desirable types of jobs are probably more competitive. But if you're willing to do home health, SNF, hospital type work you could find something very easily.

Home health is indeed a field with high demand and seems to be weathering the economy better than most. My sister does that and she recently was offered a job by three different companies almost immediately after being interviewed by them. She had her pick basically.

As for cosmetic I know we have quite a few places that do that here. Many of them are concentrated near Kaseman Hospital at what is known as the "Constitution Plastic Surgery Center". Type that into Google and you come up with some names and numbers of places there.
