How about Tractor Brewing out of Los Lunas, any good? I just noticed the new tap room they opened in Nob Hill, on Tulane behind the Starbucks. Has a small patio. Didn't have a chance to try it.

I have been to the LL a couple of times and have enjoyed their brews. I love their slogan "Get Plowed".

I've had their beer and it was really good. Haven't yet been to the new tap room, looks nice though.

There beer has been getting better over the last year. Tractor isn't in my top tier of local breweries yet, but steadily improving.
Tractor had some serious problems a couple years ago (like 40bbl of DMSed Red that they decided to bottle and try to sell anyway). Good to hear they are improving.
Great brew at Chama brewing Co. Also, the samplers are $1 each, so essentially they are cheaper to get than the whole beer. I didn't realize it until they came out with 8 of them (my wife and I wanted to try all the beers), By the time I selected got to my "whole" beer, I was half snookered.
Also, the food is very nice here. I had the steak salad. Yum. And PET FRIENDLY on the patio.
Abq lost Hallenbrick Brewery this past Sept, but there is a new brewery getting ready to open (Boar’s Nest) and one slated to open mid-2012 (Goat Head).
