Just earlier this week, I noticed the signs for a new Costco under construction on Eagle Ranch (just south of Coors Bypass). The sign said it was scheduled to open "Winter 2007". This has been long overdue in my opinon.

But its one more step toward the goal of trying to keep us West Siders on the West Side for our daily activities! Now if we could get more companies like Tempur-Pedic, Eclipse Aviation, and The Bell Group to set up shop on this side of town, maybe we could start easing the load on the bridge crossings.

Not only is Costco a major retailer but they are also a major employer. Anyone who's familiar with the traffic at Renaissance will welcome this opening.

I imagine this will reduce bridge traffic by a few percent, if for only a few years, once it opens.

I was talking to the GC a few days ago and he said it should be ready in about 90 days. Thats a pretty quick build. Costco is my favorite place to shop. Nice add for the west sideeeee.

Default the anti-Wallmart

COSTCO, the anti-Wallmart. You just gotta love 'em.

I still think they ought to re-name the place "the 200-dollar club", since you can't walk out till you've impulse purchased at least that much.
