ABQ is a great place. It looks... very sandy. The architecture of the houses is very round, very subdued and warm and cozy. I like the place a lot. I lived there 2 years, only left because I was homesick for the culture I am used to (New Orleans), and my friends. It is a pretty place, very unique. The people are nice, in my experience. It is not a fancy place, I like that too. Santa Fe and Taos seem to have become fabricated for tourists, but ABQ is more 'real'.
